My last class in Psychology we had a speaker from the Art Institute of Colorado, named
Joe Chavez.
He actually barely talked about the Art institute. Haha.
He talked a lot about life, and being racial (not racist).
He started off by saying, "Oh yeahh, i know why you guys are taking this class... you're flipping through the pages of your textbook going ' I've gotta be in here somewhere!'" mwahahaha. i loved that.
He was friggin hilarious, i'll say that.
He made all kinds of stereotypical jokes,
like white people can't dance (hehe)
and that mexican people have a lot of kids because they're angry people,
so they tell their kids to go beat up the other families' kids. Lmbo.
By the way he is a Mexican Jew, or as he called himself, a Mew.
He said a couple things that really affected me (in a good way).
He said, "If who you are sucks! You're life will suck!"
I made a goal, not to suck.
He also said, "Be careful who you hate, because you will become who you hate."
I'm not sure how that works, but it sounds like a bit of truth.
My favorite thing he said, was "so kids, push play, and let the Game called Life begin... But play at your own risk."
I asked if i could add him on Facebook, and he said it's not allowed.
I want to talk to him again in the future, because he had a pretty cool life, and has a lot of life lessons to teach! :)
