I'm going to share something with you...
That is very special...
and also, exciting.
It's something a little unbelievable.
But completely True.
It's about my personality
i didnt realize this before but, a person's personality is Them! i mean, its all of who they are! its everything! like, when a girl says, i like guys with good personalities, they not talking about a small trait like humor, the personality is everything! so lets hope girls want guys with good personalities because if not, then they're not very good guys!
My therapist had me take a personality test and when the results came in, she pretty much told me who i was! it was so intriguing hearing someone who is not myself talk about me like they're inside my mind walking around.
She had a lot to share, so i would like to share it with whoever would like to see it, because, i want you to know who i am and why i do the things i do!
She started off by telling me that only 2% of people in the WORLD have my personality.
I am an idealist (people who were also idealists: Ghandi, Martin L. King)
Basically i'm really spiritual and i care about everything that matters with humanity; I am a Humanitarian.
Idealists could never be Presidents because we are such True people that we would be uspet by things if they aren't true or fair.
I have a need for real & honest people (friends, peers, family, lovers)
I need a peaceful environment or i am unsettled. If my world is not safe, I will have the tendency to hurt myself; self inflict (cut, eating disorder, etc)
I always think about the BIG PICTURE of things. i know the strength of Heavenly Father's Plan because of this.
Ghandi, an idealist like myself, always believed in a cause and he was strong in his actions and beliefs.
I can become hurt by critisism.
I am an Extrovert, which means i am social.
I am VERY intuitive- senses & Gut feelings, i guide my decisions with my feelings.
I weigh things out carefully before i make a decision.
I am a strong example & teacher
I process things at a deep level. & i look for love at a deep level.
if anyone i care about goes through any form of suffering, i will feel like i need to help them.
im fiercely independent
i have an innate ability for poetry.
a movie that people see as dumb could be amazing to me.
i have boundaries & i'm not afraid to speak up for myself.
if people don't understand me i can feel as though my "angelic wings" are being crushed.
All these traits of myself really astound me because they are so true.
It's amazing that we can test our personalities and because of psychology and research we can look into our minds and see who we really are. we don't have to be wise and old to figure it out.
Another interesting thing she told me was that personality comes from Genetics, you're born with it.
I want to get a book soon, called "Please Understand Me", it's a book on each different type of personalities and all the traits and explanations within them.
If you are ever confused about who you are or why you may do the things you do, i encourage you to also get this book, go to a therapist, or even just do a little research on personalities because they really are everything.
I Hope you can feel as full and grand as i do
by finding out all these unique things about myself.
