A couple of weeks ago for our Young Women's/Young Men Activity we went to the Cherry Creek Reservoir to have some FUN! We invited the Strasburg Ward, so it turned out to be a little shindig ;-) There was three boats and numerous tubes,water ski's, etc. I was hanging out with Destiny and we had a bunch of fun, walking along the beach, splashing in the sick-nast water, and making sand castles... YES! Sand Castles! But that didn't last long because I gave up after my first two towers crumbled :(
Destiny and I were two of the last people to go on the boats so I was SUPER excited! We were both nervous to go Tubing but we did it!!! The first five minutes was INSANE! I was laughing so hard because of Destiny [screaming] that I almost fell off!!! But half way through it was a piece of cake ;) I even took the time to notice the very cute life jackets thank you very much!ツ
When somebody drinks a can of Rootbeer, usually they have to use the restrooms at some point, and that's what happened to me! So I Britney Spears'd it [barefoot] and took Destiny with me to the Bathrooms. I have to admit, they were scary! We went exploring and turned the other direction that went further into into the "bathroom chambers". There were creepy shower heads and a lot of weird walls with separate showers. It looked like something from an old concentration camp! Destiny was freakin' out and I wanted to have a little fun so I went into one of the shower areas and started to scream, then I ran to the exit! Before we had gone exploring, Destiny was already confused on how to get out so there she goes running, and she runs right back into where the stalls were! Her face was priceless when she came out a couple seconds later after realizing there was no way to get out in there. After I showed her the way out, she refused to believe that I did all that just to scare her, hehe!
At the end of the night when the sun was coming down, Bree snapped a few pictures of Destiny and I.
Hats off to a memorable Summer day.
